Biography

Born in 1977 in Gifu Prefecture, Japan. During childhood and adolescence, influenced by Japanese anime and manga, he began drawing manga and illustrations. He was particularly drawn to the world of Hayao Miyazaki’s animations. Under the influence of his father, he started practicing karate at the age of three, achieving numerous results in karate tournaments during high school and university. He majored in business administration at university.

2000-2002: Dispatched by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to La Paz, the capital of Bolivia in South America. In Bolivia, he instructed karate and self-defense at the National Police Academy, the riot police, and the embassy guard unit. During his stay, he began painting using acrylics as a self-taught artist during his spare time, drawing strong inspiration from Joan Miró, Vincent van Gogh, Cy Twombly, Yoshitomo Nara, and Japanese animation.

2003-2008: Engaged in creative activities while teaching karate in Laos, Sri Lanka, El Salvador, and Fiji. He balanced martial arts and artistic activities, cultivating the spirituality common to both. After returning to Japan, he energetically held solo exhibitions.

2009-present: Became a represented artist at a Japanese art gallery. He continues to be active in Japan.

2024: Aiming to expand into the United States.
